As you go through your day, is it typical to see people who are overweight in stores, at the office or at restaurants? Does it seem commonplace to hear conversations about PMS, hot flashes or trouble sleeping? Is having a headache or indigestion just part of living?
A passionate speaker, Dr. James Rouse, stated on the September 2013 Success CD that we have normalized obesity, sickness, depression and mediocrity. We are so accustomed to being less than healthy that we are no longer startled by it. How many times have I heard someone say, "Well, you're over 40, what do you expect?" So many people are overweight, sick, moody or unhappy that we begin to think it is "normal".
Dr. Rouse challenges us to embrace healthier habits and live as an example to others of how life can be better, more enjoyable, happier and more fulfilling. He suggests putting one phrase on a stick note to hang where we can see it often. That phrase is, "I am a movie star!" This should remind us that we are part of an epic motion picture where our choices will influence and affect the lives of others. Those who are healthy should not be afraid to "live large", in a loving way, so that others will be captivated by what they see and want it for themselves.
To help you with this goal of being healthier and living large, we are bringing a guest speaker, Shannon Hudson, a Platinum leader in Young Living, to the Pittsburgh area to share health and wellness ideas, testimonies and encouragement. Shannon loves to say that she is "blessed and highly favored" and she will rock your world.
She will be coming Saturday, April 5, from 10:00 - 5:00 for the Exceptional Expectation Conference. Shannon will be sharing her own powerful story as well as testimonies from dozens of people that she has worked with over the years. She is a dynamic speaker and a great motivator.
You can register online or by contacting me. The event will be at the Embassy Suites in Coraopolis, PA. Cost is $35 for Young Living wholesale members ($45 at the door) and guests are FREE! (promo code: GUEST).
Some of the topics she plans to cover: Pain, Inflammation, YLEO Compensation Plan 101, Heart Disease, Stroke, High Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, Making a Difference, Thyroid Health, Hormone Balance, Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, Vision Loss, Exceed YOUR Expectations, Cleanses, Building a TEAM, Find a Vision, Excuses, Adrenal Health, TEAM Structure & Silver in 6
Shannon will also be sharing on Friday night, April 4, from 7:00 - 9:00 at Panera Bread in Robinson Township, PA (across from Jared) about building a profitable business with Young Living. Let me know if you plan to attend so we will know we have enough space (and, if we don't, if we have to move the location).
What are you thoughts on "living large" and letting others take notice? Will you be attending the conference on April 5?
Remember, post a comment in March to be in the drawing on April 1!
